Shout out to After Hours Racing! I called everywhere to get a CV axle changed out when everyone else declined because it was aftermarket. Shout out to this place, they said they could put the axle in and got me in on a timely manner, they helped me understand why my axle wouldn’t go on and what parts needed to be fix for a great and reasonable price. My car runs smooth now and I feel pretty good knowing this place is somewhere I can trust with my car. Thank you! - Bryson

So happy I stumbled across this place. Recently moved to Charlotte and have been searching high and low for a trustworthy mechanic. My check engine light had come on and I came to this shop to have it looked at. The gentleman who assisted me knew his stuff. He was able to help me with my issue and even educated me greatly about what may have caused it. He was straightforward and super helpful. I think I found my new local mechanic. I can’t say enough good things about Alex at After Hour Racing. He took me in on very short notice and was extremely knowledgeable about everything we discussed. From the start, he gave me a clear overview of the work needed along with a realistic price estimate, which I really appreciated. I had a drift event coming up at the end of the week, and Alex went out of his way to accommodate the timeline and make sure the car was ready in time. The work was completed successfully and on schedule. Throughout the entire process, communication was excellent—he kept me updated and was always available when needed. They service Subarus and racing cars as well as Hondas, Toyotas, Mazdas and Nissans from every era. I highly recommend for anyone from a specialty Jdm vehicle to a beat up Honda civic, you won’t find better prices or service anywhere! After moving to Charlotte in 2023, I was unimpressed with the level of service and expertise at other mechanics. I’m so grateful I found After Hours Racing. My 2015 Honda Accord Sport, 2.4l w 6-speed manual transmission needed maintenance. The high level of knowledge and care saved me money. Additionally, they’ll take the time to identify potential issues proactively, so you’re able to prevent unnecessary problems and additional costs. I cannot recommend them enough.

If you drive a modified subaru, this is the place to go near Charlotte. Alex is very knowledgable about the wrx/sti/EJ and does high quality work. Great communication and very respectful. Installs/work done: - Valve cover gasket replacement - Koyorad radiator install - Spark plugs
